Learning Resources

The learning resources in MyLinE are divided into seven topics. The resources for each topic will open in a new page when clicked.

1. English for Academic Purposes

This topic contains input on the sub-skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking, including tips on writing academic papers and reports, making presentations and other academic assignments.

2. English for General Communication

This topic includes input and exercises on grammar and the different parts of speech, general communication including effective spoken and written communication and vocabulary.

3. English for Busines

This topic contains input and exercises on English used in the business profession, including tips on improving business communication.

4. English for Professional Development

Useful information on various aspects related to professional development and input on skills needed to secure a job, such as writing a letter of enquiry/application, preparing a resume and attending an interview, are included in this section.

5. Study Skills

6. Resst and Relax with English

This section houses a collection of fun language learning activities such as quizzes, jokes and riddles and other activities that provide opportunities for students to experience English in an unconventional way.
